⏰ When can you book?
This is the date that decides everything. Miss 7:00 AM on this morning and the best return times are already gone.
Which park are you planning?
Tier rules, prices and sell-out order are completely different in every park.
How are you starting the day?
This changes what you should rope-drop instead of wasting a Lightning Lane on it.

What sells out first
If a ride is high on this list and you want it, pre-book it. Low on the list? You'll almost always find it day-of.
Multi Pass vs. Single Pass
| Multi Pass | Single Pass | |
|---|---|---|
| What | One price, book ride after ride all day | One price per ride, for the biggest headliners only |
| Pre-books | 3 before you arrive | Up to 2 per day, bought separately |
| Typical price* | $17–$39 / person / day by park & date | $11–$29 / person / ride by date |
| Park hopping | Yes — after your first tap-in, book in any park | Buy for whichever park the ride is in |
*Prices are date-based and shown live in My Disney Experience before you pay. Ranges here are typical, not a quote for your date.
The 5 rules that actually matter
- Book one early, not three late. Your first return window should be as early as you can get it — tapping into ride #1 unlocks everything else.
- Tiers disappear after tap-in #1. Once you've scanned into your first pre-book, you can book any tier — and any park if you're hopping.
- Modify, don't cancel. Modifying keeps your place in line for a better time; cancelling and rebooking does not.
- Refresh at odd minutes. New times drop constantly as other guests modify. Check on the :01, :07, :12 — not just on the hour.
- A "burner" is a strategy, not a waste. An early, easy Tier 2 you tap into quickly can be worth more than a perfect ride at 4 PM.
Park pro tip
Don't have Multi Pass yet?
You buy Multi Pass and make your 3 selections in the My Disney Experience app — on your booking-window morning, buy first, then immediately pick rides. Buying and picking are two steps, and the clock is running between them.
Premier Pass note: Lightning Lane Premier Pass (one entry to every ride, no return-time booking) exists at a much higher, date-based price. For most families, a well-planned Multi Pass day gets you 7–10 rides for a fraction of it — that's what this planner is for.
Unofficial fan-made planning tool. Not affiliated with Walt Disney World. Attraction lists, tiers and closures change — always confirm your selections in My Disney Experience on your booking day. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has been closed for a lengthy refurbishment and is expected back in 2026; Muppet*Vision 3D and It's Tough to Be a Bug! have closed permanently and are not listed.
